About CIC : Social Responsibility

CIC always helped the communities neighboring the projects we work. We look for opportunities to help different organizations with resources helping in the remodeling and improvement of facilities, with materials and equipment and with monetary donations. All our employees from the executive team, to project management and to project craft get involved, hands-on, in different activities to help the sectors of the community in need. These are some of the examples:

  • We are sponsors of the Civil Engineering students of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (PUPR) to participate in the annual competitions of the American Society of Civil Engineers. This year we sponsored 11 competitions and for the first time the PUPR won a competition with a third place in a steel bridge category. A CIC representative traveled to the competition in Tampa, Florida with the student’s team.
