Project Estimator

Our established full-service construction company is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Project Estimator to join our in-house Estimating team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in construction project management, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and driven. This is the perfect opportunity to build a career at a leading construction company.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
  • Review and evaluate cost estimates
  • Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates
  • Understand scope of work to bid
  • Manage bid pricing from all vendors
  • Prepare cost analysis
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience in estimating Commercial, Hotel and Industrial projects
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Experience with SAGE Estimating Software is a PLUS
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Fully fluent in English and Spanish

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Overview

General Contractor specialized in industrial and commercial construction with over 30 years of successful history is seeking candidates for a CFO position. The chosen candidate will report to the President and be a vital part of the senior management team. You’ll oversee all financial and risk management activities for the firm, including accounting and finance functions. In addition, you’ll handle the banking and bonding company relationships and manage the external audit each year. You'll gain an understanding of the system and evaluate all processes, procedures, and workflow to ensure the department is running smoothly. You'll be responsible for assisting with strategies to help management team reach long term business objectives. You will work closely with all the company’s leaders to ensure they have timely accurate financial data. We offer competitive salary and benefits. EEO

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA license is preferred
  • Previous executive-level experience in a major Construction company is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
  • Proficiency Experience in a Sage Accounting environment is preferred.
  • Outstanding human capital development skills and experience is required.
  • Strong leadership and supervision experience are essential.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with financial institutions, legal counsel and professional consultants.
  • Able and willing to work long hours to achieve results.
