CIC to Build Largest Refrigerated Warehouse in the Caribbean for Econo

CIC Construction Group celebrated with client Econo Supermarkets the groundbreaking of their newest Warehouse and Distribution facility in the town of Canovanas. Econo selected CIC to design and build its 456,000 SF distribution operation center, which will house the largest refrigerated warehouse in the Caribbean and will allow them a more accurate strategic planning regarding the inventory of products available to consumers. CIC project scope also included a building for offices and support areas.

The well-known supermarket chain began operations in the year 1970, and currently has 62 locations around the island and more than 6,500 employees.
